The new Signatures Swim and ZZ Mini collections introduce our first fully recycled swimwear, now crafted entirely from recycled fibers for a gentler footprint on the planet.
Made from 91% REPREVE® Nylon / 9% LYCRA® EcoMade, the new Signatures Swim and ZZ Mini collections are available in two new fresh hues, Coral and Earth Red.
Our new Signatures Swim and ZZ Mini are crafted entirely from our first 100% certified and traceable recycled pre-consumer Nylon and Lycra® waste. Nylon and Spandex are critical yarns used within swimwear ensuring longevity, softness, and freedom of movement.
Traditionally, these yarns are derived from petroleum, when we extract and refine the petroleum used to make fabric we pollute land, air and water, and contributes to global warming. Our new signatures material is knitted from Repreve® Nylon and EcoMade Lycra®, an innovative circular fabric. Both Repreve® Nylon and EcoMade Lycra® are created by pre-consumer waste. The waste is collected from production lines and then reincorporated into a new raw material. By using Repreve® Nylon and EcoMade Lycra®, we can divert waste from landfills and reuse it in products.
1% of gross sales from the Signatures Swim collection is donated to environmental nonprofits through our partnership with 1% for the Planet.
