ENDLESS SUMMER WITH FELICITY BRAND

Where to eat in YAMBA

Begin with coffee & breakfast at Gather - confirmed best croissants in town and I recommend the avocado & kimchi on sourdough. For lunch head to the local Prawn Shack for some famous Yamba prawns....pick up some fresh rolls from the bakery and eat alfresco on the beach. For dinner, we loved Barbaresco an Italian spot nearby in Angourie for a refreshing spritz and super fresh seafood & pasta.

What to do

Star the day with a beautiful sunrise walk. For a gentle stroll I would recommend Pippi Beach (doggo friendly also) but for more of a hike I would recommend Angourie Back Beach which heads up to into the stunning national park. Set up the beach umbrella for the day at Spooky Beach which has a real tropical island feel - you might get some surf if you're lucky too. Cool off for a cold one or two at the iconic Pacific Pub

Where to stay

We stayed at The Surf Yamba which is a new boutique hotel perched on Yamba’s famous headland, overlooking the southern end of Main Beach. With its unique curved exterior, rooftop terrace and plunge pool the hotel has relaxed coastal-Australian vibe but guests will find hints of overseas inspiration with Italian terrazzo tiles, limited edition artworks and bespoke handmade furniture.

What to wear

Keep it cool and casual as Yamba is essentially a fishing village so you don't want to dress up too much. For the beach - bikini & this summer's must have accessory the sarong. For cruisy days - I lived in my Cotton Ribbed Knit Shorts worn back with an oversized t-shirt and sandals. For the evening - relaxed denim but spiced up a touch with the Forest Towelling One Piece and some layered gold chains.

What to listen to

Flight Facilities new Album FOREVER is providing all the summer feels.

What to read

I'm looking to start the new year with a new mind set so I'm reading The Secret by Rhonda Byrne.
